Kathy,
The information you provided seems to lean toward possible myoclonic spasms
with infants.
The symptoms may occur during or after a feeding or if the infant becomes
sleepy at the breast. This response is due to the infants immature neurologic
system.
If the infant remains alert and there have been no other noted physical
abnormalities I would consider this action to be nomal,but surely one to be
followed by their pediatrician.

infant.
