Karen,
as an adoptive breastfeeding mom, I always took 3 pills 3 times per day
or 2 pills 4 times per day....but then on an interent site about
breastfeeding after reduction they discussed taking up to 120 mg per day
and I also saw a reference (might have been here) that discussed how a
certain population dont see a marked increase in milk until they reach
120 mg to 160 mg. So I am now trying 120 mg. It does seem that I feel
fuller and my daughter is taking less supplementation but I cant
scientifically say for sure.
see this site for more info http://www.bfar.org/domperidone.shtml
by the way, Dr Newman is one of the reference but there are several other
reference with links that might be useful to read.
JP
