Can anybody tell me if fenugreek capsules or mother's milk tea (fennel,
anise, fenugreek, coriander seed and blessed thistle) are contraindicated
for high bloodpressure postpartum?  My sister gave birth to a 4lb 6oz baby
boy at 32 weeks via c-section due to preeclampsia and at day 3 postpartum
her blood pressure is still quite high.  She is on beta blockers. She is
pumping every 3 hours and making attempts at nursing her
as-not-yet-interested baby.  She had supply problems after her 1st baby
(born at 37 wks, 4lbs 12oz IUGR)and is worried about the same thing
happening this time so she wants to begin galactagogues as early as
possible.  She tried domperidone but it gave her severe stomach cramps.
