After reading this posting about fenugreek, I reached for my favorite herbal companion, "The New Age Herbalist: How to use herbs for healing, nutrition, body care, and relation," and it says after listing information regarding parts used, constiuents, main uses,
"CAUTION Fenugreek has a stimulating effect on the uterus and should not be used as a medicine during pregnancy."
I think it would be wise to consult a Master Herbalist when recommending herbs to those we consult. Master Herbalists have a huge wealth of knowledge and can give you more information than you ever thought you needed.
