Cheryl shared with us this:
And then there is my neighbor who is angry that she has to go to school 3
times a day to check her daughters blood sugar because she has had
diabetes since she was 3. (Now 8) She wonders why she was never told
about the diabetes risk when she was pregnant or after the birth and she
is angry. There is diabetes in the family on both sides so she definitely
would have listened.

Cheryl,
Please encourage your neighbor (who has the daughter with diabetes and is angry that she wasn't informed of the risks of formula) to write to the appropriate contacts ( government officials, AAP, maybe a letter to her local newspaper) regarding the ad campaign. Maybe you could help her. Input from parents such as her are invaluable to convey the message that parents need to be informed of the risks! She is a great example that refutes the statement "I fed formula and my kid is just fine!".
