I am presently working with a mom of a baby that was a 33 1/2 wks
premie.
She pumped while her baby was in the nursery and had a good supply in
the
freezer. She always got less milk from one breast. She has no hx of
being
on meds, sx, or health issues. She has exhausted her freezer supply
and
continues to need to supplement what the baby takes at the breast (8
oz/24hr). She is taking fenugrek and blessed thistle. Her physician is
not
comfortable giving her any prescription med. Any ideas why her milk
supply
has always been limited on one side? Any other suggestions to increase
her
supply?
