Jennifer,
I rent Ameda pumps, and it is very easy. I 've made a simple database
(I like Lotus Approach, but any database or contact manager will do) to
keep track of my pumps, and print out a form each month to record rental
payments received on. One generally needs to charge about twice what
the company charges you for the pumps to avoid losing money - some
months you will have lots of pumps in, and other months you will be
begging someone to return one for a mom who is desperate. You also have
to cover stamps for billing if you are going to send reminders. I send
a tear off sheet once every 6 months to moms who are renting long-term.
I think the minimum number you need to stock is 3, and there is only
$100 minimum order for parts/kits.
