I went to the ILCA conference in Denver last weekend and Dr. Margaret
Neville, PhD from the Dept of Physiology and Biophysics and the
University of Colorado Health Sciences Center spoke on this subject and
reported that there is a negative impact on milk production when Depo is
given early and that it should not be given before 6 weeks.  She lists
several references for her presentation.  Email me privately with your
