Dear Christy Ann,
The situation I described was my very own daughter who turned orange.
I was young and did not yet have the knowledge I would later gain as a LLL
Leader and IBCLC. But what I should have made clear is that *now* I suggest
sunshine treatment for babies with *slight* jaundice. If ever I had in my office
or at a LLL meeting a baby as orange as my daughter was, I would indeed
recommend that parents get in touch with the doctor immediately.
