A working mother in Berkeley bf her older daughter almost a year and a half,
and is now on several-months maternity leave with her second. Last time she
rented two medela Classic pumps, one for home to build up supply for regular
work-days and periodic business trips and another to leave in the office; she
tried the Lactina and felt it not as useful to her.
This time she is considering buying a Classic, since they were so expensive
to rent. But they are extremely expensive, too. So she is trying to learn
more about the best options for her.
Thus, several questions: What's the useful life of a Classic pump? Is
there a resale market, and if so, how or where would a person find a used Classic
pump?
Finally, if there is anyone in the Berkely or Albany CA area who is familiar
with these pumps and perhaps with their availability nearby?
Sadly, I am still no-mail, so please reply off-list.
