Dear Lactnetters,
I know I could hunt through the internet to find this information, but
instead I'm going to be lazy and use lactnet as my source! I have a simple
question - can anybody tell me the official variations that occur in step 4
of the Ten Steps (BFHI)?
I'm reviewing a paper where it states that in the USA and Australia step 4
reads 'help mothers initiate bf within 60 minutes" - instead of the 30
minutes laid out by the official WHO / UNICEF Ten Steps. The Netherlands
version also says 60 minutes. Basically I would like to know how this is in
the UK and Germany - being neigbours of the Netherlands.
Thanks in advance
Sara Bernard
