A client of mine, who is due in mid-February, and who had a breast reduction
many years ago, just had her baby nurse cancel on her. The baby nurse was
apparently also a lactation consultant and was to stay with her for four
weeks. Does anyone know of a baby nurse who is also an IBCLC? She
definitely wants a baby nurse as opposed to a postpartum doula, but perhaps
she would be open to having both? Any postpartum doulas/IBCLC's out there?
I have strongly suggested follow up with one of the many top-notch IBCLC's
in NYC to ensure baby is gaining, etc.
Please respond off-list.
Thanks,
Julie Rosen
