Regarding the post w/ the mom with deep breast pain--we had several moms
last year w/ same complaint. Latch was perfect, no nipple trauma and seemed no
beeter w/ diflucan. One mom's husband was a osteopath and noted one day that
she was crooked-out of alignment. He adjusted her and her deep breast decreased
and was manageable w/ small smts Ibuprofen. She was doing alot of sidelying
to breastfeed and had positioned herself in such a way to curve around the baby
that she was pulling on muscles, etc. Another mom was always on the go and fed
the baby while she was walking and carrying in arms or in a sling. As soon as
we correted her positioning and her alignment w/ the baby her breast pain
went away. So, I might suggest a chiropracter or massage therapist visit to see
if this helps.
