I must have missed the first post about this site. I agree, the picture of
the breast leaking what looks like dirty motor oil is ugly. The text seems
only slightly better:
"Cette image, qui sans doute vous choquera, c’est le constat de l’état d’
urgence de notre planète où l’essence même de la vie est en danger." ("This
image, which without a doubt will shock you, (...shows...) the state of
urgency of our planet where the the essence of life itself is in danger." -
I know I am not Jo-Anne but I don't think this is too far off the mark!)

BUT: one of the sponsors of the website is L'Oreal, a Nestlé subsidiary.
That makes me less inclined to be at all generous in my judgment of the rest
of the page. There is also a note of gratitude to JCDecaux, for making this
campaign possible. JCDecaux is the company rapidly making every bus and
streetcar stop in the world look exactly alike, with exactly the same
brand-name advertisers catching our eyes, convincing us to use this toilet
paper or see that Bond film, shop at XYZ clothing store, drink QRS bottled
water and eat Giant Conglomerate semi-prepared meals. Perhaps the polluted
breast image is destined for very wide distribution? Oy vey.

well aware that one picture is worth a thousands words, ugh.
