yes, pt education is very very valuable. i find one thing most parents are
very unsure about is the diagnosis and treatment of jaundice. i am usually
the first one to explain to them what it is all about. i've heard numerous
parents say "yeah, what is that anyway?"
i get so angry when parents are just patted on the head like puppies. "he's
got a touch of jaundice, we'll put him under the lites and supplement with
formula."
