For myself, I got into the habit of lying down so that my back (from side to
side) was vertical, so I didn't have to use energy to keep from rolling one
way or the other.  Then I *lifted my lower breast and set it back down*, to
get the kinks out.  That's all I needed to do to get the nipple a baby
cheek's distance off the mattress (I never rested the baby on my arm).  Did
others of us do the same?
