I avoid the beer reference altogether.  I tell Moms, "Think about what you
do on a sweltering August day, when you are really thirsty.  You hold your
glass of cold water in front of you, with your chin over your chest, so you
can tilt back your head and guzzle your drink." [I mime the motion as I am
describing it.] "Look at your baby.  No matter what position he is in --
cradle, football, in bed with you -- his head and neck should be positioned
so he can guzzle his drink, too."
