My clients say that it works very well.  I like it because it doesn't
contain any alcohol. It is basically fennel seed and ginger, both which are
known stomach calmers. Mothers who call me have used simethone drops with
poor results and they are desperate to ease their babies' intestinal gas
pain. I haven't had any client to say that it *didn't* help.  Some call it
a miracle.

Some mothers use it before feedings and some use it after the baby is
crying.  Both seem to ease the baby's distress.

I also work to find the cause of the distress but in the meantime Baby's
Bliss Gripe Water makes everyone feel better.

I know of several other LCs who have found it useful to their clients.

By the way, fennel seed is one of the ingredients in More Milk tincture
which increases milk production in most women.  What I find interesting is
that all of the galactogogues, including Reglan and domperidone are
primarily used for digestion.
