I keep reading all over the Web that "it is alleged" that formula
company reps contacted AAP members, and HHS and other government
officials to lobby against the Ad Council breastfeeding TV spots. Does
anyone know who these people were who are alleged to have made these
contacts? Where does that info come from? I want to interview formula
company spokespeople on this issue and want to contact individuals who
are known to have worked to prevent release of these TV ads.I would
like to track down the source of this story - who was it who first
alerted the ILCA and others about this lobbying by the formula folks?
For those who don't know, I'm working on a story on this controversy
for Salon.com, so that's why I'm asking.
