Are there accepted levels of breastmilk contaminants and if so what are
they. We have a mom with Enterobacter and Staph. The reason we did the
culture in the first place was all three of her triplets got sick with NEC
at the same time. We really need to find the source. We have sent random
cultures of her frozen milk which she had pumped at home and a culture on
freshly pumped milk, pumped at the hospital with a new pump kit. All
cultures grew in the 100 mil with in 36 hours.
Any help would be great?
Thank you in advance for you sharing your overwhelming knowledge.
