Indiana Regional Medical Center - is displaying a large banner (provided by the SWPA WIC grant)  Good Healthcare starts with Breatfeeding.  We are also recognizing a Pediatrician and Obstetrician on staff, who because of their support and protection of breastfeeding , are the 03-04 Baby Friendly Docs.
We wrote a human interest story for local papers,  are giving out pocket cards to all the nursing staff, have two bulletin boards.
Through a campaign to identify Mother and Baby Friendly workplaces, using what we did at IRMC as a model, we have encouraged(over the last two years) businesses to become Mother and Baby Friendly by having lactation rooms, policies or guidelines and break time available.  We have identified 5 + (two have almost completed criteria) workplaces and will later have a reception for them, media support and framed certificates. It is really cool to call a Senior VP and congratulate their organization for supporting women returning to the workplace.  Identifying them as a leader.  They are speechless and happy!!
