Thanks for your post. I changed the subject line slightly, so that people
trying to follow the thread would be able to access your post as part of the
thread ( I hope.) Of course, this is not a cultural issue, so much as a
'subcutural' issue, since there are plenty of American Christians who would never do
this in an eternity of years. Following what you were saying, I would sheepishly
suggest that you invite the Pearls to Norway during the peak of tomato season.
Of course, it wouldn't change their minds, but ...
