Thank you Dee,
I am sure you are probably right and it will take me a few years. I
plan on trying to get my CLC next year, depending what my schedule is like. I
am very anxious to start because I already have a job opening for whenever I
finish because the hospital in my area knows of no LC's in my area. They are
waiting for me to get finished. I have a question though, can you work with
your CLC or do you have to wait? They are waiting for me to get finished. I'm
wondering because a good way to get those practice hours would be to start
ASAP. Also, I have been mentoring several friends and friends of friends with
breastfeeding. Is there any way to document those and count them as hours? If
so, how would I go about that? Is there a paper of some sort that I could have
them sign?
Thanks in advance, Jessica Sargent
