We are a Baby Friendly hospital, I am an RN IBCLC, came to work yesterday
and glanced at the formula shelf; instead of regular Enfamil with iron,
there is Lipil. We didn't order Lipil, and don't want Lipil. I made them
take it away. I spoke to our purchasing rep, and have learned today that
Ross is no longer selling regular Enfamil w/ iron to hospitals and that
Lipil is now also our WIC formula. So, we have no choice except to use
this. Our few formula-fed babies are almost all WIC babies, so will get
Lipil there. Venting.
