Each new generation of LCs and other hcps has to learn the info anew.
I didn't know it either. Until now, whenever someone has asked about
risks of pitocin induction, I've said there aren't really any known
risks. That part of my childbirth curriculum will change.
There was a study done a number of years ago connectin pitocin to
childhood cancer, but the results could never be reproduced. Do I
have this straight? Does anyone know if there is further research in
that area?
