I am now 7 weeks into my second nursing journey...after battling 2 bouts of
Mastitis and some nipple issues early on...and a raging case of Reynaud's...I
keep thinking I should take pictures of my own nipple's color changes they
are so classic :)...but I digress...
Anyway, a tip that I have thought of along my journey. Many books, classes,
etc, recommend air drying your nipples if they are cracked etc...but if you
have Reynaud's this air drying only adds to the pain, as cold air makes the
nerve pain worse. Just something to inquire about if your clients have both
cracked nipples and Reynaud's which typically go hand in hand.
