Pam asks,
<<Isn't a maternity shop asking for a person's name, adress, due date,
etc. when purchasing a gift certificate a violation of HIPPA? Hmmm. I
don't know that I feel comfortable knowing that that kind of info is so
easy to get on me.>>
I don't think maternity shops, etc. are regulated by HIPAA. Just health care
facilities. And, of course, you can always refuse to give it....
When I went to make a purchase, I told them I didn't know the address, but
told them to put down my name & address & the due date instead. I really wanted
to know what I would get. I'll let you know.....
Jan -- definitely NOT pregnant at age mumble mumble
