No, I, Like most others practicing in the hospital setting have not managed
to get rid of the D/C packs and will probably not live long enough to see
it become a reality. One of the (many, many, many) reasons I choose not to
advertise the formula companies products is that I do not receive a
paycheck for doing their advertising for them. I get blank looks from the
nursing staff when I ask them why they would choose to work for free for a
faormula company. These companies pay handsome salaries to their
advertising execs and their sales reps, so why should not every nurse who
on a daily basis "advertises" their product also receive a paycheck? I may
(tongue-in-cheek) consider distributing D/C packs once I begin seeing a
paycheck for this service.

Congratulations, Jennifer, on the new addition to your family! Enjoy!
