There are some things we're just not destined to know. There was one little
breastfeeding fact that I couldn't keep straight - was it A or B? I got up
in the night before the exam to review it, and it was the last thing I
looked at in the morning before I took the exam.
What was the first question on the exam? That very fact. I smiled... and
then guessed because I couldn't remember which way it was supposed to go.
And I couldn't double-check my answer afterwards, because I couldn't
remember which one I went with on the exam! (And now, of course, I don't
even remember what the little fact was, so I can't make a point of learning
it for next time.)
Maybe some of what happens on the exam is just fate, and there's not a thing
you can do about it, no matter how hard you study...
