Dear Lactnetters, Yesterday a patient I have been counsiling and is doing great had her hip replaced after many years. The surg. put her on this anticoagulant and I cant find anything about it except the PDR info which states no breastfeeding. Her baby is several months old and all is well. T. Hales book had no listing for this and I suggested putting her on anticoag. Heparin because we know this has a large moleculer wt. and is safe but have not heard from the Dr. Anyone hear of this drug? Fondaparinux {Arixtra}. Thanks in advance for your help and support.
