Usually axillary breasts take about 3 days to start to regress, and a
week or so to totally disappear. When I see a client with ectopic
breast tissue, I instruct her to do Breast self exam there too, and I
notify her ob of the extra tissue, so it can be followed as well.
The tail of Spence is usually long and cyllindrical, whereas axillary
breasts are usually more spherical.
