 Topical Bacitracin use isn't a problem.   
Actually, because it is readily available in most medicine chests, I will 
sometimes use it as a replacement for bactroban in DR. Jack's APNO recipe. I 
don't believe it is as wide spectrum, nor does it have the antifungal benefits of 
bactroban.
I've never heard of systemic bacitracin.
