When Sue Majoris asked "are there any physicians out there with ideas on how
to diplomatically create change in the nursery" I about jumped up and down.
Today I did an interview for World Breastfeeding Awareness Week and returned
to work to find messages left from Mom's that are having problems with
supply after their Dr. told them to supplement with formula after feeds or
through the night so they could rest more and so the baby would sleep 3-4
hours. I have tried giving physicians research on breastfeeding and I have
offered numerous in-services to try and educate but am still having
problems. What are some ways to "diplomatically create change" in general?
