I've always liked Chris Mulford's analogy.  If formula is Philadelphia (east
coast US) and breastmilk is Hawaii, New Improved Formula is... Pittsburgh (a
few hundred miles west of Philadelphia).  And I like to add that milk for a
different aged baby, or donor milk, or milk with most medications in it is a
few miles east of Waikiki Beach.
