Foul-smelling stool is to be expected when the stool has been sitting in the gut for a week or two. This is one of the questions I ask that helps me determine if a baby is dealing with OAMER/oversupply causing a lactose/fat imbalance. If that is not the case, we inevitably find a food allergy underying the symptoms.
