What sort of growth chart is the pediatrician using?  Most growth charts are
based on overweight even obese bottlefed infants. Once this child fell to the
5 th percentile has the child maintain steady growth?   Looking at percentiles
for height instead of weight are more important than at the weight and a more
sensitive indicator in breastfed infants  (especially exclusively breastfed
infants) of adequate growth.  A gain of 1/2 ounce per day is fine.  Christine B
