Just want to share this with you..
I was reading July's issue of Breastfeeding Review this afternoon and was
'chuffed' to see that the authors of this particlular article had started
the abstract with the following:
"In recognition of the irrefutable disadvantages of not breastfeeding to the
mother, baby, society and the enviroment, increasing the duration of
breastfeeding has become a focus of national and international health
objectives"
Now - isn't that refreshing. Much more to the point that the usual
"Breastfeeding increases IQ or Breastfeeding reduces the risk". I'm not
going to harp on as you all know where I'm coming from!
