Thank you, Jan.  This is what I am faced with everyday at work!  Part of what
dictates the time management of hospital LC's is the support and knowledge of
the staff.  Where I work most of the doctors and nurses do not understand
breastfeeding and therefore this doubles the LC's work load.  We are working on
this aspect of our job but it will take many years and therefore our 60%
initiation rate (usually a large mix of partially breastfeed) will not increase for
quite awhile.  :-(
