Alison--
I am a postpartum doula and BF Peer Counselor. I spend, on average 2
1/2
weeks (more if there are multiples) on a daily basis in the homes of
mom's who have just given birth. As a PP doula, I spend my day
counseling, mentoring,
supporting, educating the new mom in addition to doing the laundry,
making meals for both the mom and her family, grocery shopping, light
housekeeping,
entertaining little ones, etc. (boy! am I exhausted at the end of my
day.)
I just want to say: THANK YOU for going the extra mile--not only
educating yourself about breastfeeding--but IBCLC certified!!
It a wonderful thing when bf families are supported on ALL fronts!
