Catherine, this case sounds like something right up Wolf and Glass's alley.
I don't know if anyone on LACTNET has their email address or if they are
willing to take a consult. There may be something in their book on
velopharyngeal insufficiency. My book is at work and presently I am at home.
I'll check when I get to work later.
I recall at their conference that some babies need NG feedings for both
obtaining adequate nourishment and to avoid aspiration until the problem is
resolved.
