hi,
i was away for a while, just came back to lactnet. i really missed it. glad
to be back.
it is interesting to me reading about the gripe water. i used to work for
visiting nurse service of New York in a maternal and childheatlh program. many of
the moms i saw were from the islands. the original gripe water had 96%
alcohol. put those babies right to sleep, cured most everything. in past 5 years or
so, i think they now make it with and without the alcohol.
