To Carole Jernigan, just read your post after had written a similar
sentament! Thank you, thank you, thank you for saying it. You are right, we can't try
harder than our clients are willing to. I too am tired of the "failure"
being my fault because noc nurses are telling the gals "give us the baby so you
can sleep...it's okay to give them a little formula" then those nurses tell the
LC's "we supplemented with Mom's permission." I would like to take "maternal
exhaustion" out of our protocol for reasons to supplement. Any ideas on how
to do that anyone?
