I'd advise styrofoam containers and dry ice. How
long could the milk be saved frozen? What containers are best? Is there a
preferred shipping method other the one I described?
Breastmilk banks routinely ship either with dry ice or packed in newspaper in
a large plastic standard cooler. The milk will stay frozen if shipped
"overnight". See LLLI web site under milk storage for recommended storage times
(eg. 6-12 months under deep freeze conditions).
