Just had to add to subject! Several months ago, our Ross rep told us they
were reducing our sterile water supply, because they found the some
hospitals were using it for other than water feedings! We had used them
for our NICU moms as well to pump and store. I guess one of the upper
managers of Ross in our teritory found one hopital using the water in their
coffee machine. So they saw our area's use of sterile water to be very
high and now only give us a small amount. We are still trying to find an
alternative product because the cost of storage containers is not in our
budgets. I have heard from other LC's in the hospital setting with the same
concerns.
