I was asked to compile a list of teaching ideas that I received. I
haven't received enough for a list but I though that I would share one of
my favorites. I like using chocolate when I teach staff. I ask a
question and the first person who answers correctly gets thrown a piece of
chocolate. It keeps people interested and involved and they always seem
to enjoy this. The other trick I have come up with also using the
chocolate is a scavanger hunt through the BF policy. This can be a group
activitity and it helps the staff become aware of the different parts of
the policy. I hope these may help someone. P.S. I have just ordered
Linda Smith's book as this seems to be the bible for this sort of thing.
Cheers from a Blustery Rainy Wellington day.
Take care,
Mandi Porta, RN, IBCLC
