Yes, there are some amazing patents out there. But one doesn't need to
consult a lawyer to look at all the patents in the USA. All you need is the web
site and ownership of a computer with internet access.

Of course, one might want to consult a patent attorney, for a thorough
understanding of patent "law" or if you have become an inventor and plan to patent
your invention one might need to consult a patent attorney. But so far in the
USA, the general public has free access to view all patents.......
I think it rather interesting that there are close to 700 patents on human
milk components (mostly genetically engineered). I guess the best patent has to
be the one Nestle has on human lactoferrin to inactivate and treat hiv/aids
(actually 2--one is for the genetically engineered component and one is for the
real thing). How odd that an infant formula company would have that kind of
patent. Yeah, inventors...they can be so silly sometimes..........
