Magda,
Paula Meier's research on the use of shields with preterm infants,
demonstrating that the shield facilitates transfer of milk was not funded by pump
companies.  And, her findings consist of a thorough review of the literature as
well, meaning her studies are supported by other studies to support her
conclusions.  This broad perspective of studies provides a stronger validity to the
findings.
