I was asked to assist with the next daycare- worker training course in my county of Florida. Specifically, the sections on SIDS , feeding, and the handling of human milk.
I was given the State of Florida training manual and was SO very thrilled to see references to breastfeeding and the need for day care workers to encourage breastfeeding.
The manual is put out by the Florida Dept of Children and Families and the manual has no authorship or reference to contributing writers. I really wanted to commend the writers of the course for the great breastfeeding-friendly wording!
At any rate, I planned to use a universal handout I have on the handling and storage of expressed milk, but also wanted to query if anyone knew of a daycare worker-specific handout available.
Thanks in advance for any pointers,
