I'm a hospital-based IBCLC and have posted occasionally. I need some good
research-based evidence that supports our current practice of continued
breastfeeding during phototherapy treatment for jaundice. We are
Baby-Friendly (and recently designated Mother-Friendly!) We aren't having
trouble in practice but are rewriting guidelines. I'm currently searching
myself through the literature but am hoping that some of you have this at
your fingertips, even as I write. If so, please share.
Gratefully,
Katherine Abdun-Nur RN IBCLC
