Thanks, Meg, for sending this URL. I had a good laugh. This must be the
ultimate nipplephobia product. Make your breasts look just like Barbie's!
The best part is the instructions. Even there, with a series of
illustrations on how to apply these tape gidgies which "do not cover the
areola, they compress the nipple to the level of the surrounding breast”, no
nipples are shown. Amazing! I had no idea nipples were so thoroughly
offensive that they couldn't even be pictured on a site showing how to keep
them concealed.

This is the evening for amusing instructions. I just looked at a Swedish
site where a product like a tea strainer, ('essential in the first days post
partum'), was described. It included the following reminder: 'Always remove
the (product name) and breast pads before feeding.'
Doh!

Norway, where post partum women are often seen wearing limpet shells under
their woollen breast pads (shades of Madonna's scary, pointy bra) and in
extreme cases they may even have cotton batting around their breasts, all
under some ratty bathrobe with milk leakages in the strategic places and
maybe a bloodstain under their seat... and they seem oblivious to it.
